AllUnity’s Swiss Franc Stablecoin CHFAU Goes Live on Base

FRANKFURT, GERMANY, 01 July 2026 –  AllUnity, a fully regulated European stablecoin issuer and licensed e-money institute, today announced the launch of its Swiss franc-backed stablecoin, CHFAU, on Base, a Layer 2 network built on Ethereum incubated by Coinbase. The launch brings one of the world's most trusted currencies onchain on Base, enabling 24/7 settlement, programmable payments, and seamless integration with both decentralized and traditional financial infrastructure.

Fully backed by Swiss franc reserves and designed to meet the highest standards of transparency and security, CHFAU enables individuals, businesses, and financial institutions to transact with a digital representation of the Swiss franc on one of the fastest-growing blockchain ecosystems. CHFAU is now also available in the Base App (formerly Coinbase Wallet), and in the Coinbase App via its DEX integration. With the deployment of AllUnity’s Swiss franc-backed stablecoin CHFAU on Base a wide range of real-world financial use cases become possible.

Peter Grosskopf, CTO and COO of AllUnity, said:
“By launching CHFAU on Base, we are combining the stability of the Swiss franc with the speed, efficiency, and programmability of modern blockchain infrastructure. Our goal is to provide a secure and compliant bridge between traditional finance and the digital economy.”

Fully aligned with the MiCAR framework, CHFAU is a regulated, 100% reserved Swiss franc stablecoin delivering institutional-grade transparency through regulatory reporting. Now available on Ethereum, Tempo and Base, CHFAU can be used for 24/7 instant cross-border settlements, seamless integration for regulated financial institutions, fintechs, treasuries, and enterprise clients across Europe and beyond.
